Ways to donate
The Edward Lloyd Trust is a charity and although the majority of our funding comes from contracts with Local Authorities, we can only use this money for the benefit of named individuals. Throughout the years we have developed services to respond to what people want. This has meant setting up new projects. Most of the people we work with don’t have a lot of money, or the opportunities to earn money, so if we charge for an activity; it is at a reduced rate.
If you would like to make a donation to the Edward Lloyd trust, either to support one of our projects, or for general running costs, you could choose:

Discos and Events
We organise regular events and outings and although we charge, it is not the full cost.
Caravan in Berwick
This fully accessible caravan opened in March 2009. The money was raised mainly from two charitable Golf Days held at Westerhope Golf Club and private donations
Summer Playscheme
The annual project is funded mainly by Newcastle Council Children’s Services, but we need to fundraise to run a full programme of activities
Soundbeam Studio
A digital music studio, based in Byker, Newcastle, that can be used by people with disabilities. The Henry Smith Fund has given us a grant for three years towards the running costs. However we still have to charge people to participate
