Summer School Kicks Off

ELT's ever-popular Summer School has kicked off for another fun-filled six weeks.
The scheme is held at Newburn Leisure Centre and offers kids the perfect opportunity to try various outdoor pursuits and really get the most out of their holidays from School.
Hayley Armstrong, Senior Support Worker for ELT's Children's Services was excited to see the start of her first scheme since joining The Edward Lloyd Trust in May and says "The Summer School takes place on weekdays from 10am to 3pm and during this time accommodates up to 45 children to access a range of activities that they wouldn’t normally have access to, including having a go on the climbing wall which usually proves to be the most popular activity! Having supported the children in various pursuits and activities to meet their development needs throughout the school term, I am really looking forward to supporting them to just have fun and enjoy their summer break."
