Support Workers (Ref: ELT5)

Hours: Part time

Type: Permanent

Salary: £6.60 per hour


Job Description

Ensuring our Service Users are the focus of your attention at all times, you will be involved in all aspects of daily living, supporting people with personal care, promoting health and wellbeing and to research and support the individuals to experience a range of recreational activities. This is an exciting opportunity where you can gain a real sense of satisfaction in a job that is rewarding and fulfilling. You will work with other team members to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our service users in a way that promotes independence and respects the dignity of each individual. Experience preferred particularly in working with challenging behaviour and learning difficulties. You must be flexible in your approach with excellent communication and listening skills. Part-time opportunities are available for a variable rota which includes some weekends and bank holiday work. In addition you may be required to work sleepovers. It is desirable that you hold a valid UK driver’s licence. Full skills for Care Standard Training is offered with this post.
