The Caravan

In March 2009 we opened an accessible caravan in Berwick.  It is big enough to take two wheelchairs.  The caravan is 37 foot by 12 foot and sleeps four people in two bedrooms.  There is also a pull out double bed in the living room.

The bathroom is large and has a disabled access shower. The caravan now has cot sides on the bed, a shower chair, a mobile hoist and a sling.

It is on the Magdalene Fields at the Berwick Holiday Centre. So it’s near to Berwick itself (a short stroll) and not too far from places to visit – not least the stunning Northumbrian coastline.  It is next door to Berwick Golf course. The site has indoor and outdoor (!!) swimming pools, sports facilities, and evening and family entertainment and all modern conveniences.  Entertainment passes are included in the price.

Anyone can hire the caravan and the charge is £65 per night, or £390 a week for the caravan, with discounts for ELT householders. If you are interested in making a booking, then please contact Lorraine at the Edward Lloyd Trust office.
